Assalamualaikum , my name is Muhammad Firdaus Iqbal Bin Mohd Farik (13DEM19F1059) and today I will write about the experiment that we have carried out during our last lectures period for this subject before the corona virus (read : Covid-19) spreads throughout the country which is the experiment regarding the relationship between pressure and depth.
The relationship between pressure and depth are something usual and very related to our daily basis life . Indeed they are very common but not everyone noticed the idea of pressure and depth and where can we apply this idea in our life. There are a few examples regarding the idea of the experiment which is :-
the theory of this experiment is is :
The deeper the object placed in the fluid, the more the pressure it experiences.
this experimet only use this formula
where P = pressure
rho = density of the fluid
g= gravitional force ( 9.81)
h = height of the fluid above the object

The procedure of this experiment are :-
In a nutshell :
we know that the deeper the water is , the longer the water jet goes. this is because water at the bottom/ deeper water have the most pressure exerted than water at the surface. This explain the reason why water damp's concrete at the bottom are thicker than at the top , why we place water tank higher than our shower and why water container have taps at the bottom of it . water at the bottom have higher pressure and creates powerful energy that made the water spout further than at the top.
